The First Annual United Creed Cook Off for Cancer Benefit brings together our community for an action packed weekend of entertainment, competition, and family fun all while supporting a crucial cause. This two day extravaganza features something for everyone, from mouthwatering BBQ to toe tapping live music!

Your participation directly supports cancer research, treatment programs, and families facing the challenges of cancer. Join us as we unite in the fight against cancer while creating unforgettable memories for the whole family.

With an incredible lineup of activities, including a State Championship BBQ Cook off, live music performances, talent shows, and family friendly entertainment, this benefit is set to become one of the most anticipated annual events in the area!

BBQ Cook Off Registration

State-Championship-BBQ-Cook-off

Entry fee – $350 a team/spot

Allowed up to 5 cookers per team (head cook and 4 others)

The cooking spots will be 30 x 40

  • We will have a limited amount of 40×40 spots for those who plan to bring an RV.
  • You are allowed to buy two spots for your team if you need the space.
  • When you buy at least one spot, you will be entered into Brisket, chicken, and ribs categories.
  • To enter into the jackpot categories, it will be an additional $30 entry fee per jackpot category.

Prizes are as follows

  • Chicken – a trophy and $500 to first place, a trophy and $425 to second place, a trophy and $325 to third place. Places 4 through 10 will get a ribbon.
  • Ribs – a trophy and $500 to first place, a trophy and $425 to second place, a trophy and $325 to third place. Places 4 – 10 will get a ribbon
  • Brisket – a trophy and $500 to first place, a trophy and $425 to second place, a trophy and $325 to third place. places 4 – 10 will get a ribbon.
  • Grand Champion – a trophy and $750
  • Reserve Champion – a trophy and $500
  • Jack pot chef choice/open meats – $30 entry fee – half of entry fee goes to the cancer cause – the other half goes into a prize money pool that is split between the winners.

Places 1 – 3 get a trophy and cash prizes

  • 1st place gets 60% of the cash prize pool
  • 2nd place gets 30% of the cash prize pool
  • 3rd place gets 10% of the cash prize pool

Places 1 – 4 get a ribbon

Jackpot beans – a trophy – $30 entry fee – half of entry fee goes to the cancer cause – the other half goes into a prize money pool that is split between the winners.

The event takes place at Anhalt Hall, located at 2390 Anhalt Road, Spring Branch, TX 78070. The venue offers ample parking and beautiful grounds for all our activities.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, as we’ll have a wonderful selection of food trucks and vendors offering a variety of delicious options throughout the event.
Yes, Anhalt Hall and the event grounds are wheelchair accessible. We strive to make this event enjoyable for everyone.
